We utilize every inch of space that we
have available to us. The bins beneath the tables house various lizards, and
scorpions. The enclosures on the shelves house snakes and leopard geckos.
Notice a height-adjustable heavy-duty heat lamp in each bin. This allows the
lizards to bask. |
The main work area is set at a proper
height to reduce back pain and fatigue. My former career as a Mechanical
Engineer came in handy when making all of our available space work
efficiently and ergonomically. Packing materials are stored above the
shelves. |

The frog and gecko section basically
consists of numerous racks that hold multitudes of fish tanks. Notice that
we use several layers of paper towels as a substrate in our frog
enclosures. This simple method allows us to flag soiled tanks immediately
for cleaning. |
Organization and workability is the key
to successfully housing and maintaining thousands of animals daily. We set
up our animals correctly. Being well organized helps us to better maintain
our animals and prepare them for their future life as a healthy, wonderful,
enjoyable, pet. |
