Exporting is shipping from your country to another country.
Importing is receiving a shipment from another country to your country. Before
deciding whether you would like to Import a shipment from the United States
consider the following:

U. S. Fish and Wildlife
Service is required to inspect live animal shipments prior to them being
exported. A Non-CITES shipment
cost $145.00 for the inspection. A
CITES shipment cost $201.00 to
inspect. These costs must be pre-aid by the customer.

Animals listed under
CITES (Convention on
International Trade in Endangered Species) require additional permitting
prior to export. This additional
permit application costs
$100.00 and can take 60 to 90 days to process. These costs must be pre-paid
by the customer.

A Customs Broker here in the U. S. needs to process and
coordinate the Export Shipment. The charge for processing and coordinating
the shipment with U. S Fish and Wildlife
Service and the Airline Carrier for the shipment is $95.00 and $45.00
respectively for a total of $140.00. These costs must be pre-paid by the
customer.

All Shipping Costs must be pre-paid by the customer.

All Live Animal shipments are packed according to
IATA (International Air
Transport Association)
LAR
(Live Animal Regulations). A box and packing fee of $20.00 per container is
required on all shipments. These costs must be pre-paid by the customer.

There is a minimum order amount of $3,500.00 that is
required for all export shipments. This does not include inspection fees,
CITES permits, customs fees, shipping costs, or box and packing fees. These
costs must be pre-paid by the customer.
